Beach by Anita Bownds (CT)
Anita has has chosen a great beachy photo for her layout, and printed it twice. I love these photos, they are so natural. Anita has flicked water colours onto the background cardstock using light blue & grey. A circle punch was used to cut the doily out of patterned paper, and Anita has then used the outer circle as well. The border and photo mounts are all from the patterned papers. The "wish you were here" postcard and journal strip add a nice splash of red and a gorgeous addition to the layout.
Her beautiful shells are fussy cut from the pattern paper, and a bow added to each. These have been shaped nicely and adhered with DS foam mounting tape to give dimension. Anita has used the pearl brads in the centre of her flowers, and raw chip alphas for her title. The webbing forms a nice ruffle beneath the arrow strip.
