Balmoral Beach by Claire Apostoloff (CT)
I lightly sprayed the background with Glimmer Mist and
used some bubble wrap and paint to randomly stamp it. I used the
postcards from the patterned papers as mats for the photos. I layered the
red netting and sea paper, fussy cutting parts of the waves to overlap the
photo.
I coloured some texture paste with Sand Glimmer Mist and
spread that over the page for a sandy beachy effect. Another of the postcards has been used as my journaling spot and I fussy cut a couple of shells, matting them against the blue
cardstock. The Basic Grey letters have been inked in red to stand out.
Those photos sure tell every little boy's story Claire. Mine only had to look at the sea and they were in it in a flash! Great beachy layout, and loving the techniques. Well done.
I measured four panels from 2 different patterned papers,
distressed and inked them and used these for the bottom of the card. I layered the papers over a strip of latte webbing and added the
ribbon and the pearl pin. I used the criss crossed patterned paper to make the
flags and inked them in red to stand out more and match the ribbon. Lastly I die
cut a sentiment frame from some of the same paper using a nestability, then stamped a
sentiment onto it.
Your card looks great Claire, a quick and easy anytime design, and I love the dash of red to tie it all in. Well done.
I hope you've got your Pack and are inspired to play along. Don't forget, you have until the end of the month.

Claire, love the size of the pics you have used in your pack layout. That blue bubblewrap stamping is fabulous and the blue accents are really striking. Love your card too. The design is simply sensational.
