More Layouts for June

There's only a week left to get those ScrapBurst Challenges in, so lets go!  We have some wonderful layouts filling the Wall of Fame at Scrapville, and the variety is amazing.  Just to refresh your memory, these are the ScrapBursts that have to be in by Pumpkin Time June 30th:
  • ScrapBurst #1 - Inspiration Challenge
  • ScrapBurst #2 - Numbers Challenge:
  1. Word Title
  2. Ribbons
  3. Shapes
  4. Photos
  5. Buttons.
  • ScrapBurst #3 - Blue plus ONE other colour
  • ScrapBurst #4 - Song Lyrics - Perfect by P!nk
You must base your layout around what the Song Lyrics say, are about or what they mean to you.
Choose ONE WORD from any of the below Song Lyrics to use in your TITLE.

ScrapBurst #4 - Song Lyrics
Perfect by P!NK
Pretty, pretty please
Don't you ever, ever feel
Like you're less than
Perfect
Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing
You're perfect to me
Now that you know what to do, lets have a look at what else has been created.
SCRAPBURST #4 - Perfect by P!NK
Perfect by Sally Clark (CT)
Detail of the corner feature, and the nicely cut title using the Cricut Expression.
Detail of Sally's flowers and stems, adorned with buttons.
Here we can see the buttons being used to frame the photo, and compliment the scallop edging.

Perfect Family Snap by Sam Epps (CT)
The orange and black work really well together, and a bit of distressing, stitching and random droplets give it a nice touch.
Here we can see the layering beneath the photos.  The doily has been coloured, and the script paper sewn around it's border, as it the border on the orange Jillibean Soup paper.  Sam has used her white gel pen to doodle around the edges of the vinyl alphas.

Sketch Challenge
IT'S ALL IN THE Smile by Janet Watt (CT)
How can you not have a crack at your very own first Sketch?  Well you've just gotta do it...  I wanted this layout to be as bright and happy as it's subjects.  Lots of yellow, layering, mounting foam and ruffling trims.  The background patterned paper, although striped, has toned it down a bit.
These paper strips are the same sheet, just reversed one side.  This ruffle ribbon has a green/bronze sheen to it - which works well in the right light!
The spotty sun's rays have been well inked on the edges break them up from the background, and then put through the crimper for that corrugated effect.  The sun has been layered and then mounted up.  I was happy with my layout.

I hope we get to see lots more of your work, with plenty of ScrapBursts to keep you all busy until the end of June.

In the top layout, I love the corner turned back and the title alpha!
