October Creations to share

Today we have some more layouts to share using the September/October Sketch.  I hope you have been inspired by Anita's designs of our monthly sketches.  It's a great way to be creative.
Fun Facts at 3 by Claire Apostoloff (CT)
 ** OUT FOR PUBLICATION **
I've used a chipboard wheel cog as a mask with some white Glimmer Mist.  I've then painted over it with some crackle medium. I used different patterned papers to make the chevrons and I've hidden the journalling under the photo.

I added a larger chipboard cog, inked it in silver, covered it with glue and added some silver micro beads.

Well done Claire, a very effective layout for such a simple design.  All the elements compliment each other and the colours are great.  So good for the boys!
13 Birthday Card by Roseanne Cook
Roseanne has chosen a 13th Birthday card for her son to do this month's sketch.  The contrast of the embossing and inking, with the punched star border work well together.  I think this has come together very well, nice work Roseanne.

We also have some show and tell from the ScrapBursts that didn't make it in time, but I would still like to share these with you all.  I have more of these to add, but for now pop on down and have a look.
ScrapBurst #1 - All About Me
Double Layout - Me by Sally Clark (CT)
A great way to showcase the "5 things about ME" using photos.
Page 1.

Simply by mounting up the mushroom and adding different sized pearls adds dimension to this embellishment.
Page 2.
A nice big cutout from the Cricut, adhered with patterned paper, inked and mounted up, and you have a very decorative title.
This chipboard shape has come up nicely with an overlay of patterned paper, inking around the edges and some Dimensional Magic in the centre, then mounted up.  Nicely done.
Well done girls, great to see how you do your ideas into action.

Catch up with the Sketch Challenges that beat the Pumpkin.  Sunday is the last day for your challenges to be entered, so keep busy!
