Hi Everyone, we have a few more layouts to share with you all in this post. We are fast approaching the end of the October Monthly Pack Challenges, but there is still plenty of time to get your Sketch Challenges in.
The Sixties by Sally Clark (CT)
Sally has had lots of fun with this one, lots of fun girly bits on it! The distressing, inking and handmade flowers give it quite the homely look too.
I created the cutest little 'flower' using the Pom Pom trim, complete with a bling centre.
I used the tissue pattern paper to create a large flower as my focal point. I accidentally spilt some Dimensional Magic on the finished flower and couldn't wipe it off, so I just covered the whole flower to cover up the mess...and I was surprised at how good it looked when completely dry.
I create my own bling flourishes using the bling from the Monthly Pack, and finished it off with a rolled ribbon flower!
1979 by Jennie Seal
Just the perfect photo for this page with that lovely red 70's dress Jennie. The cutouts, the layering of the flowers and the edging on the inner page all work well together to give your page a great look.
The pelmets look very effective as a title, and the pelmets cut out from the patterned paper and slightly lifted give the ladies a little more movement.
Layering the decorative punched border strips once inked always gives them a more defined look.
She's Growing Up SO Super Fast by Anita Bownds (CT)
Anita has been very busy again, getting several layouts out of this pack. Lots of doodling around the spatter adds a nice effect.
The B&W herringbone patterns are just enough to draw attention, but not overpower the main focal point. The mini alphas from the pack are also a good size for journalling or titles.
Great work girls, just loving what has been done with this one, and all so different and inspiring.
Janet
