Hi Everyone, we have a little over a week to go for our Sketch Challenges to close, so keep them coming. Today I'd like to share some creations with you using both sketches.
Marcie Card by Claire Apostoloff (CT)
I coloured Marcie in with Copic Markers. I added some sparkle to her with Kindyglitz, then matted her against an inked Nestability die. I used American Crafts paper and Sassafrass Lass patterned papers on the background and border. The punched pink strip is the Martha Stewart Lattice punch, and I've added a bow and some roses. The bow was white ribbon but I've coloured it with a Copic. Well done Claire, she looks great. Love the layers and colours.
Sweet Tweet by Sally Dowen
Sally has used embossing on her purple card for texture, and stamping for the sentiment and flourish bird. A big die-cut flower adds more contrast and depth, and a touch of gloss. Well done Sally.
Galosce by Rita Russello
How cute are those boots?! Such a lovely girly page, very simplified, great colours and great use of the doilies and punch. Well done Rita.
Thanks for sharing girls, always great to see how everyone puts their sketches together.
