More ScrapBursts

Here are some more wonderful creations for our ScrapBurst Challenges.  Only a few more days to go, so make sure you get them in on time!
You Iz Makin Me by Sarie Los
SB #1 Kraft & 2 (Green & Black)
Well it's a little like "stacks on" really, can't expect to put a perfectly comfortable mattress on the ground and NOT expect them to test it out?? Yes, the furry family are loving that! Sarie does a great job on her layouts journalling her story. The photos are only half the story, and I can see Sarie is adept at putting it all together with her story tags. Nice use of the decorative edging, well done.
Playdate by Nicole McNamara
SB #2 Bunting and a Tree
This is such a fun layout Nicole, lots of birthday photos and lots of colour. The bunting blends in nicely, and the background papers fit the theme nicely. Well done.
Nicole has used a border punch to incorporate her tree/s. This is a great way to utilize your punches.
Isaac by Angie Wenke
SB #3 Handmade (Sunflower/s, Bird/House, Frame)
Angie has used corrugated cardboard to make a replica of Isaac's sunflower, adding a birdhouse and bird as well.  The layout has an outer frame, with the photo offset by two cutout frames on a backing of tissue paper.  Some more handmade PP flowers and a mix of buttons finish it off. Isaac will be proud!
Veery Sleepy by Sarie Los
SB #3 Handmade (Shoes, Bed, Chair)
They say it's a dogs life, and I'm seeing a picture here Sarie??  I think he's got it made, just quietly...  The handmade embellishments all compliment the photo with a little bed, shoes and a chair.  A clever way of tieing in the photos.  Some quilting for the Title and raffia for the frame finishes it off.  Well done.
My Eyes are On You by Angie Wenke
SB #4 Wordplay - Eye
What an exciting and fun boy layout, lots of scary faces and monsters.  The cutouts are great for adding dimension with a bit of foam mounting tape, and the film strip is a great way to add in those extra little scary photos.  And of course there's the wobble eyes!  This is great to see IRL.
I'm not sure if they are claw marks or bite marks, but I like them! Cutting into the photo with your black background works well, and a little doodling with the white gel pen gives your cardstock monster shape! Well done.
Hungry Eyes by Angie Wenke
SB #4 Wordplay - Eye
This layout is a Show & Tell, as the above one is Angie's Challenge. When you have a great photo you just have to scrap, well we still like to share them! Little monster cutouts, layering and some wobbly eyes help to set the theme of those Hungry Eyes about to dive into that yummy cake!  A little scary, but we've all been there.....
Apple of my Eye by Nicole McNamara
SB #4 Wordplay - Eye
With Chloe chomping on her very first apple, how appropriate is this Wordplay.  Lots of apple paper, cutouts and a bit of stamped paint and some splotches.  The check paper is so picnic, and I think the red title is perfect.  Well done.

There will be a few more challenges to enter yet, so keep an eye out for the pre-pumpkin post.

All these LO's and colours look great! So fun!

Thanks for your lovely comments Janet...being a story teller is in the blood as my mum is a journalist. My Charlie dog definitely does have it made, he is one well loved pooch!

I'm loving all those bright colours on these layouts. I like your punched decorative border Sarie and all those bright pastels look great for your chosen theme Nicole. There's so much detail to your layout Angie - the handmade flowers look very rustic! That's one spoilt pooch Sarie - those shoes look fantastic and I really like how you've jumbled it all on to the layout. It works really well. How cute is your monster layout Angie - the photostrip with the close ups is a fab touch. (You seem to have a lot of monsters around you...). Gorgeous apple theme Nicole - love the apples against that gingham background!
