Layouts & Cards for December

Hello Everyone, hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  I have been able to round up a few more Monthly Pack layouts for you, as well as some Sketch Challenges.  Thank you everyone for sharing your work with us all.

First up is not one, but two layouts from our newest CT Member Nikki using the Circa 1934 Monthly Pack.  Using the combination of patterned papers, plain book script and fabric Nikki has used dimension to layer her flowers and leaves.  I think the combination is great, and the fabric  centres in the flowers are very effective.

Just one Look by Nikki Antonello
With this wonderful pack there is plenty of wonderful chip shapes, and they all add a nice shiny and dimensional look to the layout.  Nikki has used her circle chip to be the focus of her journaling and title, with a spray of small chip flowers and some punched butterflies.  The papers have been layered, with the butterfly border punched on top.

Once again, curling and shaping of the lovely yellow flowers  really draws the eye in to the photo.  Nice work!
Happy Holidays Card by Khristen Foss
Here we have a Card for the Monthly Sketch from Khristen using layering with flowers and a beautiful crocheted doily in traditional Christmas colours, and a few silver brads to highlight the flowers.

Di has used embroidered/crocheted embellishments to add to the simplicity of these layouts of her daughters' Deb photos.  The handmade flowers and bling add balance between the two layouts, and simplify each with a real girly appeal.  Looove the Butterflies!
Brothers by Judy Laracy
Judy has taken the Black & White photo and toned it with natural colours and embellishements.  The chip has been left raw, the daisies are natural twine, the buttons mounted onto the circles are stone like, and the paper piecing has got such a lovely colour and design.  I like how this came together.

Thank you everyone for the above Monthly Pack and Sketche Challenges.  You have a week to go for Pumpkin time with the Sketch, and the end of the month for the Circa 1934 pack.  If you can find a bit of time out from all the madness - see if you can get one in!! :0)
