This is the last Sketch Challenge for 2010, and to that part quite appropriate that we add a Christmas theme. Melinda has once again offered another exciting challenge with the sketch, to take you through the mayhem of the Christmas rush and into the New Year for a midnight on the 14th January, 2011 deadline.
These are the Creative Team girls' samples using the Sketch. I hope you gain as much inspiration from the Sketch as the girls have, all very different and exciting.Angels of Mine by Marg Oliver (CT)
Just lovely Marg, Glimmer Misting and layering and stitching, and three gorgeous little angels! And here I have added some detail photos of the flowers and the stitching that Marg has added to this layout.
Christmas Tradition by Sally Clark (CT)
Sally has used quite a bit of layering on the Gingerbread Dudes, which look so playful and gorgeous (as does Dylan....). She has also layered the bottoms of the tree to give more of a layered effect, then used glossy dollops of paint on the red dots and hearts. Very nicely done Sally. In these photos you can see the detail of the mounted up Dudes, the gloss on the dots, hearts and alphas, and the gems for a bit of Christmas Bling!
We hope you are given a bit of Christmassy inspiration with this Sketch, although you may interpret it any way you like. To be in the running for the $20 Scrapville Sketch Voucher the Sketch must be recognizable. You may turn it or flip it, and you can use anything from your own stash. If using the Sketch for other projects, please ensure you credit the author.
I will have more to upload for you shortly, and I am really looking forward to seeing what you all do with this one!
