Last of May's Creations

MONTHLY PACK
Be You by Grannie
Grannie has used punches and stamps to change up the patterned papers.  The lovely stamped flowers have been mounted up with foam tape, the punched butterflies are embodied with bling and double layered to allow the wings to sit up.  The title sits nicely on the heart, and a bit of doodling helps to tie in the bunting.
A closer look at the layering of the butterfly and the flowers.  Well done Grannie Gran Gran!
SKETCH CHALLENGE
Love Is.. Ever Growing by Janet Watt (CT)
I had lots of fun with this month's sketch layout.  Not only did I do real hand-stitching, but all the leaves were also fussy cut out of gorgeous Graphic 45 papers. The photo has been etched as an outline as I like this effect, and thought the darker photo with the candles would suit it. The edges have been sanded, and it is also mounted up.  The title frame is a Dusty Attic chip shape, and is inked with Raven Glimmer Mist, giving it a black and purple sheen (lousy photographer so you probably won't notice it..)
The vine stems are floss, glued down with a glue pen.  Each leaf has been shaped, inked and misted with a fine shimmer of Glimmer Mist, and most mounted up with foam tape. The flowers are die cuts, quilled into shape, and the centers have been filled with beads.
The background paper is Graphic 45, and the foreground is BasicGrey.  The bottom thickers have been inked with Black StazOn, leaving a white edging.  The photo is of my eldest son, who is ever growing in many ways.
SHOW & TELL
Quilted with Love by Beth Metcalf
Beth's layout didn't make the previous monthly challenge in time, but she has agreed to let me show and tell it.  The layout showcases Diane's love of quilting, and Beth has used some lovely photos to show this.  The photos are layered and staggered, and the black hand-stitching breaks up the colours and adds a nice dimension.
Beth has used the gingham and tissue to make a little layered flower.

Well done all!

Janet
