More April Handmade Packs

Hi Everyone, well we're back with more to share from our April Monthly Pack by LilybeeDesign.  We're seeing the girls getting lots out of this one once again, so I hope you've been lucky enough to grab one.
China Town by Anita Bownds (CT)

Anita has adhered thin strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom edges of the cardstock, then doodled above them to make a scalloped edge.  The background has been given a splash of colour with flicked white water paint, and the edge around the border of the layout has been machine stitched.   The doily was cut from pattern paper using a Doily Punch, then cut in half.  Anita has then punched a decorative border edge for the top and bottom of the centre panel.
The flowers were diecut from the tissue paper, and topped with rhinestones. The other flower, leaves and photo corners were cut from the patterned paper, adding pearls to the centre of the photo corners for a softer look.

(I SOOOO want to cut that fish out and stick it in a photo with Lui!!! It could hardly get away if it was big enough to ride right?)
Jump for Joy by Deb Pulford (CT)
Deb has used the same photo 3 times in this layout, and what a great snap.  She has used the wonderful colours in the patchwork papers to make the banners, with the top layer mounted up with DS Foam Mounting tape.  The hand cut heart has also been mounted up.  A very simplistic and yet effective layout Deb, just lovely.
One Man Went to Mow by Kylie gW

Kylie has given us another example of how to get more photos onto a layout, and tell the story.  The framing of the main photo makes it the main focus, and the handcut flourishes give the page a lift, especially with red mixed in.   Well done Kylie.
Bubbles of Fun by Sally Clark (CT)
Sally sprinkled some bling, felt brads and i-Top brads among the different sized circles and added some punched stars for a splash variety.  Add some ink and pompom trim and some alpha stickers for journalling to complete the LO.
Sally tore some strips of fabric, threaded them through slits in the cardstock and knotted them for some extra texture.
I trimmed one of the frame stickers into an oval, used alpha stickers to spell '2 cute!' and finished it off with 2 coats of Dimensional Magic.  I used my i-Top to make some brads in 3 different sizes, using some of the fabric and different papers.

It really is an interesting pack when you look at the difference in all these creations.  I hope you got yours and are busy playing!  Thanks for sharing girls.

Janet
