April/May Sketch Challenges

Hi Everyone, welcome to the April/May Sketch Challenges.  We hope you are inspired to get creating with these wonderful sketch designs from Anita.  Scroll on down and have a look at what the talented Creative Team girls have come up with.
Sketch Layout
Prefect by Deb Pulford (CT)
Deb's Prefect layout utilizes patterns and shapes, both in the paper and as cutouts. Centered as the main focal point, the photo jumps out at you with it's brightness in a mix of boyish tones and shapes. A great photo Deb.
Sketch Card
Card by Claire Apostoloff (CT)
Claire has used October Afternoon and My Minds Eye papers, together with a tractor image. The sentiment was stamped using white pigment ink onto some denim, and framed with red bazzil. The truck was covered with Dimensional Magic.Copic Markers were used to colour the wheels. The Nestability frame die has been outlined by a Copic marker, then a metal wheel hub was added.  Such a blokey card interpreted from an almost girly sketch.  Well done Claire, it's good to see the sketches shown as either masculine or feminine.  What will yours be?

That's not all folks, there'll be more soon!

Janet

Can't wait to have a go at these sketches!!!
Deb...LOVE the blue button!!! It's amazing what a difference such a small embellishment can make. Great take on the LO.
Claire...stamping on denim looks GREAT!!! and that little bit of bakers twine tops it off nicely.
