September/October Layout Sketch
Autumn by Sarah Wood (GCT)This is Sarah's take on the Layout Sketch. The colours have all worked in well together, with each square carefully stitched along the borders. The leaves have been die cut, and they look great layered on each other. The Flocked AC Thickers have been lightly inked around the edges to tie in with the colour theme, and also add a bit of shadow. What a great photo Sarah has used on her layout.
Are you looking at those tiny letters? The patience paid off, they look great!
Here you can see the layering of the bracket and pleating, with a bit more added depth from more layered and shaped leaves.
September/October Card Sketch
Happy Birthday Tag by Sarah Wood (GCT)Well how cute is our Winter Marci? Using the La La Land stamp and showing her prowess with the Copic Markers, Sarah has beautifully tied the colours in together. The MS Eyelet Lace punch aslo adds a nice soft touch to the pink, with the yellow background breaking up the colours a bit. This Tag Card has actually been quietly on display at Scrapville for a little while - it was too nice to keep hidden!
Thanks Sarah, great samples of the new Sketch Challenges. And thanks to Michelle and Sarah for working together to put the new sketches together.
Before I sign off I would also like to share another layout from the last Sketch that did in fact beat the pumpkin!
Camera Shy by Kylie gWKylie's layouts are all in A4, and always an interesting mix of colour and design. The fringing looks great, and the crimped paper strip and crochet flower compliment each other nicely. A great stalking effort too Kylie, that photo has come up great. Thanks for sharing your challenge.
