MAY LAYOUTS TO SHARE

Hello everyone, as we begin to approach the end of May we have some more Monthly Pack Layouts and a Sketch Layout to share with you all.  A lot of the monthly pack layouts that have been brought into Scrapville have been using a bit of white space, which is always interesting with the vibrant colours in this Pebbles range.  We have a couple that have mixed it up a bit, so look on....

The first layout has used lots of colour, and broken up the white space with the masking of a doily behind the photo, sprayed with pink Glimmer Mist.  The punched butterfly shapes edged in pink also tie in nicely to the GM.  An added feature of the layout is the row of handmade rolled and layered flowers using the brightness of the Pebbles papers.  These tie in well with the colours in the section below.  Jennie has also added a few small punched flowers to scatter amongst the stems.  Nice work Jennie.

Glimmer Misting mask on the doily, and the butterflies.
The handmade flowers with a bit of DM to add some shine.

The next two layouts to share have both opted for a bit more colour, using the extra cardstock in the pack, and a blue patterned paper for their backgrounds respectively.  With some colourful handmade flowers and punched shapes, a bit of fussy cutting and some mounting tape and we end up with a very nice balance on the page.  The lovely trims and ribbon in the pack have added a bit more softness with their wonderful colours and design.
U Make me Smile by Karyne Clayton

Karyne has added a bit of glitter to the title frame and the flower shaped buttons, which ties in nicely to that beautiful sparkly ribbon.

More handmade flowers mixed amongst the hand cut flower, topped with the flower shaped Pebbles buttons, and set to the edge of the nice chunky grass.  Thanks for sharing girls, great work.

For a bit of outside the square, Sam has come up with something very different for her take on the May/June Sketch.  Using lots of texture this time round, Sam has used lots of tissue pattern papers, glued and stitched, a splash of paint and some Glimmer Mist stamping to work the page.  Also using fibres and a chip shape -  sprayed with GM then coated with Dimensional Magic, really sets off the photo of Joshua.  Some silver accents scattered across the page tie it in nicely.  Well done Sam for "going outside the square!"

A bit of Glimmer Mist on the doily, then pieced in behind the tear and laced up with twine.
The chip shape framing the photo, GM and DM on top.
The silver charm adds a nice touch in amongst the fibers, and a smattering of white paint.  Well done Sam, I love what you've done.

Always nice to see what you have done with your Monthly Packs and Sketches, thanks for sharing girls.
