Today is the day for announcements!

Announcement No. 1
I have been giving the role of Creative Teams considerable thought of late, and what I have decided to do is introduce a Guest onto the Creative Team for a short term role.  This person would kurtow to the many demands of the almighty shop owner ............ oh sorry, that was a dream I had......  but I wouldn't entirely object!  Anyhow, I would like to feature this person's projects on the blog and in-store, and also do a meet and greet in-store (where possible) so that you can also meet them.

My vision here is to introduce the talents of everyday ordinary people, share their project styles and techniques, and diversify the scope of your knowledge with something new or different.  There are many creative people out there who are just like you and me, who play a part in the same scrapbooking, papercraft and card making world, but perhaps just do it a little different to each other.  This is my way of showing you all how at ease you should feel about achieving something you are passionate about regardless of where you think your quality threshold is.

New styles and techniques lead to new challenges, learning new ways to expand on your creativity, or simply just seeing what or how someone else scraps.  I hope this will be as exciting for you all as it is for myself, the Creative Team, and the ever excited Guest....

I would now like to introduce everyone to Scrapville's very first Creative Team Guest Member.
Please welcome to the team...
Marg Oliver

Announcement No. 2
Well it is the 15th of the month at that means a new layout and card sketch for everyone to use as inspiration and to be in the running for a randomly chosen prize just for entering your creation.
April Layout Sketch

Now, the sketch is there purely for inspiration, you can flip it, alter it however you like, use whatever products you like and any techniques you choose, but the original sketch design must be recognisable. And, if you use it for anything other than to enter the challenge, please give credit to the designer.
Guest Creative Team Sample Layout
- Marg Oliver
Oh, now isn't little Evie just so precious, no wonder Marg is the proudest Nanna.
Marg has used the beautiful 'My Little Shoebox - Flutterby' Collection which is on order and will be available instore soon! We'll keep you posted!

Creative Team Sample Layout -
Sally
Sally has created a very 'French Chic' style layout with gorgeous use of lace and dreamy aqua and cream hues. Love the paper piecing of the flowers and leaves with just a hint of pearly bling.

April Card Sketch Layout
Melinda's Card Sketch Sample
Melinda's card was made using Bo Bunny's 'Kitchen Spice' range which is featured in our April monthly pack - we still have a few packs available instore.

Nice layout sketch Sal, love the colours you've used.
