Senior's Show & Tell

Scrapville has been running Card and Scrapbooking Classes as part of the October Seniors Program. Today we're sharing a few samples of what the girls have been doing. With only one week to go we'll have more to share following that class as well.

Scrapbooking with Zan
Family
With this layout the girls all used a variety of patterned Christmas Papers. With layering, inking, tearing and a little bling the girls all got to try something new. For a different spin on the above design we had a couple of extra layouts that the girls were able to see as a comparison to what you can do with a basic layout.
The Girls
Special Day
We're looking forward to seeing the girls putting their next layout together in the last class next Tuesday. Don't forget, if you haven't booked yet you'll need to, places are limited.

Thanks to Heidi and Zan for showing the girls what to do in their classes.

STAMPING

SAMPLE CARDS - TEXTURE & EFFECT STAMPS
The below samples were put together by Zan to showcase some of the latest texture and effect trends using stamps and masks.  Each one is individual, and techniques used range from your standard stamping, stamping and embossing, resist stamping and sponging, spritzing, background masking, colouring the stamps and layering with a touch of dry embossing for more dimension.  These are great to work with, and we'll have more to share shortly using our other style of beautiful rubber stamps.  Or you could call in and check them out here...

What a great variety of cards using the same or similar stamped textures. Simply changing the colour from neutral to bright can be so effective and extends the life and use of your stamps. Makes for a quick re-stocking of the "Cards in a Hurry" box that we all seem to keep in the midst of our creating spaces.

Thanks for your take on these great cards Zan.

DoCrafts Creations

For all those that like a bit of Art Deco, the below samples using the last DoCrafts Creativity had plenty to offer. Not only did we see some great Card Creations, but also how Heidi has also put her hand to a layout, which we incidentally don't see a lot of.....yet!  In this page one of the Decoupage Art Deco Ladies is the main feature, and easily works well as a double for those Elegant evening, Deb or Special Occasion pages.  It opens up the doors a bit more in regard some added decoupage.

Here you can see the layering.
