Lots of interesting layouts from the City Park range, such diversity. Some very interesting techniques, and lovely work. The card made by Heather has made good use of the embossed papers, such cute little ducks! Well done everyone, I am looking forward to seeing what else you do with this pack.

April Blind CropVille
Hello Everyone, welcome to our April Blind CropVille - with a hint of Easter! Another great class put up by Sally, with Easter the theme this month there was lots of cutting, mounting up, and the girls got to play with embossing folders. Great to see how they put them all together, and once everyone's photos were added on we can see once again how easily they can take on another look. Here's what they all created.......

Well done girls, thanks for coming along. A special thank you to Regan who was our youngest attendee, sitting quietly and working away happily. And when it comes down to it, yes a Well Done to Dawn, who sat on the other end of the "age scale" and scrapped her first Blind CropVille as well. Oh dear, and Sammy and Bethany and Nicola............. Welcome and thanks for coming! To those occupying the "Naughty Corner" of the classroom, (...heads up - 2 tables, 4 corners!!) ... you know who you are! - glad you were there.
Our May Blind CropVille is booked in for the Saturday 21st, and with Mother's Day quickly approaching I am sure this is going to be a very nice and special BCV. Don't forget to book.
cheers

April Monthly Sketch Challenges
Hello everyone and welcome to the April Sketch Challenges. Below you will find the Layout Sketch and the Card Sketch, to be completed and submitted by Pumpkin Time on the 14th of May. You may use anything in your stash for the sketch, but we must be able to recognize the sketch. We hope that you will be inspired to create your layout or card using the sketches designed by the wonderful Melinda Spinks for Scrapville, and we look forward to sharing your work. Thanks again Melinda.
April/May Layout Sketch
Hip Hop by Michelle Rogers (Guest CT)
This layout is from Michelle, featuring her daughter Amy at one of her dance concerts. With Blogger being a little temperamental of late this lovely image and my previous post disappeared, so I have re-posted. Having been featured on the "Wall of Fame" in Scrapville announcing our April Sketch Challenge, I have to say I love this layout by Michelle. I love the brightness, the colours and the black accessories of the tulle flower and beading.
A look at the distressing of the BoBunny papers, the black beading trim and the tulle flower.
At the top of the layout we have a nice touch to Michelle's paper flowers, being doubled over and blinged up in a half circle. A nice balance.
Eat Cake Card by Sally Clark (CT)
There is some blinging up here with the Dimensional Magic and a bit of glitter. The Vinyl Thickers look fantastic with an outline drawn onto the letters, then layered with a coat of the DM. A few extra dots on the dots, and a nice big i-Top brad on top of the cupcake and you have an awesome card. Very, very girlie. Well done Sally.
I will have more samples from the girls shortly.
