Hi Everyone, today we have a few sketch challenges to share with you all. I hope you are able to enjoy playing, as they are such great sketches to create with. Let's have a look and see what the girls have done.
My Sunbeams by Debi Clark
The sepia photo works in great with your neutral colours Debi, good call. The addition of the yellow/green 'bellies is a nice compliment to the layout, and you can see lots of depth in the layers.
Debi has stitched on her bunting and background patterned paper block. The sequined and glittered butterfly looks great too.
Spider Boy by Sally Dowen
Sally has used a great little spider web mask in place of the hexagons in the sketch, and they are so effective for this page. Minimal use of colours brings the theme to the fore, for one very serious little Spider Boy! Well done Sally.
Jake by Zan Boyle
Zan has also enjoyed playing with her masking and texture stamps. The cogs are such a useful addition to masculine pages. The Paper rolling looks great, as does the bunting.
The Paper rolling and layering of the bunting. The buttons give a bit more dimension and blend in nicely with the colour theme.
Masking and stamped background for the title. Add some torn edges, a bit of fine point edging, staggered layering, masked background and you have a great blokey title! Well done Zan, great take on the Sketch.
