Feb Blind CropVille

Welcome to another Blind CropVille reveal.  The February Blind Cropville had a bit of a shabby feel to it with some interesting techniques.  There was a bit of paper piercing, threading, gathering, scrunching, stamping and an interesting touch with a few Kleenex!  I loved the layout Sally put together for the Blind Crop, and the girls produced some stunning layouts as a result.

This is the Reveal of the Master Layout.

Detail of the ruffled, inked paper with the threaded ribbon.  The scalloped strip has a laquered effect, showing through to the texture and colour of the patterned paper underneath.
The lace was threaded with the fine ribbon, and the pearl strip tied into a bow with the tails left to decorate the photo.

And here is what the girls were able to put together.

Here is the detail on the 3D hearts.
Be Mine by Sally Clark (CT)

These are the first of the layouts using the February Monthly Pack.  Loving the colours and the use of all the different flowers popping up.  We're starting to see a bit more stitching too, which is great.
Twelve Years by Fiona Tuckwell
Fiona's layering of the patterned papers with a bit of rounding to the edges, a nicely coordinated punched edge and her stitching tie this layout in just nicely.
Boxing Day Races by Jennie Seal
Detail of Jennie's handmade flowers.
How effective is Jennie's layering of the cut outs?
Thanks for sharing girls.  Can't wait to see what everyone else has done with these beautiful BoBunny papers.

i-Rock Winner

Hi Everyone, well it's a little later than I anticipated but we have come up with a winner of the January Monthly Pack challenge to win the i-Rock Prize Pack!  Your Layout had to be completed using only the Monthly Pack and/or Booster Pack products - the only exception for this month was that you were able to use your choice of Alphas for your Title.  Techniques such as stamping, inking, distressing, painting, embossing or your Imaginisce i-Top were also allowed.

The Winner of the Imaginisce i-Rock Pack for her layout "Christmas Night" is Fiona Tuckwell.  Congratulations Fiona, I loved the sense of white space, the bunting and your use of colours. You can contact Janet to collect your wonderful prize.

To everyone else that entered, thank you for your wonderful layouts and we look forward to seeing more of your work.

More from the February Monthly Pack

Hi Everyone,
well here are some more projects created using the February Monthly Pack.  The girls have been busy putting these together, and the more I see what comes out of this pack the more I love it!!
First up:
I "Love" U by Sally Clark (CT)
Sally has used the patterned papers from the Crush range to make an off the page frame.  You will note lots of distressing along the edges, and some fussy cutting on the circles which were then layered and dotted with a bit of bling.
The scripted paper was cut in strips to tie the words in, and the Thickers were altered with a "J" and a "U" to make the "heart".  This was then nicely mounted up and outlined with a white marker, then mounted onto the frame like a decorative corner.
The Tulle looks so nice pulled into a bow and secured with some floral bling, whilst the rest of the tulle is dotted with dollops of Kindy Glitz.  A very appropriate frame for such a kissy kissy photo!
Sewn Together with Love by Sally Clark (CT)
Sally's next creation has required much hand stitching, and possibly lots of patience!  The patchwork centre has been pieced together from squares and strips of patterned papers, alternately outlined in more stitching or over-stitched in the centre with a heart.  This has been mounted up onto a cardstock square, with the family snap then mounted up and placed on front.
The words, dancing hearts and stitch lines have been traced onto the red cardstock, then stitched (and/or outlined with a white gel pen).
The cardstock edges have been stamped in white ink with a decorative design.
How good does this layout look?  Very creative indeed Sal, and another great take on this fantastic range from BoBunny.  But lets not stop here....

(That's) Amore by Sam Epps (Guest CT)
Sam has an annual tradition of decorating her home calendar, which will sit proudly on the fridge and is pleasing to look at!  This year Sam has taken advantage of the Monthly Pack by BoBunny to decorate the front page, using techniques such as distressing, tearing, inking, stitching and layering.
This is a closer look at the whole calendar, yet to be filled with Crop Days!!
The above image shows Sam's detailed hand stitching of the hearts, and the 3D effect of mounting up the cutout, distressed and inked hearts.  The glitter alphas have also been inked to blend in with the colour theme.

Free Spirit by Sam Epps (Guest CT)
I am loving those handmade flowers and the colour combination, great work Sam.  A very clean layout with lots of "white space" and dimension. And aren't those little eyes just looking at you looking at her?!
This image gives us a bit more detail on the hand stitching and those lovely shaped flowers.  The Tulle flower has been shaped then adhered onto the cardstock, then on with a spot of bling.  The butterflies were punched from double sided adhesive then covered with glitter and shaped to sit up.

So as you can see there is plenty of variety in this pack, lots of interesting ways to mix your colours and/or patterns, and some beautiful work put up by the CT girls.  We are all looking forward to seeing what you can do with it as well.
