August Newsletter.

Hello Creative People,As we hit the start of our 8th month of the 2010 year, we are proud to release another exciting Monthly Pack, an Extra Monthly Pack, and a couple of extra surprises! Using the Mamma Razzi range from BoBunny as our standard Monthly Pack, it has been kitted up in a blend of blues, browns and a touch of green toned in with black. To add to the Booster we have added rubons, cutouts, tulle and a nice die cut bracket shape. Second to this is the Extra, which consists of the Wishful Thinking range from Fancy Pants. Featuring soft pastel colours with a touch of red & brown, this pack is softened up with some very nice accessories. It will be worth your while to go and check out the samples put up by the Creative Team girls to see just how much you can do with these packs.

JULY MONTHLY PACK GIFT VOUCHERA Scrapville Gift Voucher was put up last month for a layout submitted using either of the July Monthly Packs, which were the Websters Paper pack and Sassafras Lass pack. A technique or criteria was secretely chosen, and this was used as the guideline for picking out the layout that best fit what I was looking for. As a result I have felt compelled to split the prize, so Congratulations go to the winners, who will be contacted via email.Once you have completed your projects using the Monthly Packs, bring them into Scrapville to put up on the Gallery Wall, or email an image to me to upload to the Blog. I hope you will enjoy using these packs and create something wonderful. I will be offering a $20.00 SCRAPVILLE VOUCHER to one person who completes a layout from either of the August Packs. The winner will be chosen based on a technique or style I pick to focus on. I look forward to seeing your creativity grow as a result of being challenged with all these wonderful packs. The Creative Team girls put in a lot of time and effort to come up with beautiful samples using the monthly products. We hope these samples of the Monthly Packs inspire you to create something beautiful of your own to enter. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with for August. I hope you are in the running.......Good Luck!

Prize WinnersAny prize winner of a Monthly Competition can continue to enter their projects into each competition, but their name will automatically be withdrawn from winning the following month.

Blind CropVille
The last Blind CropVille was such a fun night for everyone, and the results have been just wonderful. The layouts on display in the front window of Scrapville are gathering lots of attention, and the girls all loved using the crimper to add that extra depth and texture. If you are yet to try out a Blind CropVille, you will have plenty to look forward to!

August is already fully booked, and so is September. There is currently ONE place available for October. A deposit is necessary when making your booking, for this or any CropVille, to ensure that all places are firmly filled. The deposit is non-refundable, as I have waiting lists and it is disappointing if places are booked and not filled when others are available to attend.

CropVille
CropVille bookings for August 14th and 20th is open for bookings. Again, a deposit is essential or your place will not be held. You are able to use the workshop area, the shop is open and supper is provided.

CLASSES
I will be doing a separate post for the Class List, and it will go up shortly.

SCRAPVILLE RETREATThank you to everyone who has shown interest in attending the RetreatVille in September. I am now at the point where I need to call on final Registration Forms and Deposits for Confirmation. I can fit 2 or 3 more in at this point, but NO MORE than that......

Preparation is a very time consuming task, and I will require you all to return your info to me on time so that I can move onto the next step. Once all deposits are paid I can get into the more detailed organization and then send out further information to those attending. We have some exciting plans for RetreatVille, and I hope you are all looking forward to it as much as I am.

KidsVille
......... did the little people think I forgot them? Well, I couldn't possibly.
We ran Tuesday and Thursday classes over the school holidays, and the little people created some very nice projects in their classes. I hope they all enjoyed their time at Scrapville as much as I enjoyed having them, and that they were happy with their creations!

We will be running classes in the September School Holidays, but due to the fact that this runs directly after RetreatVille, I will need all bookings confirmed by the 13th September so that my class kits can be prepared and ready to go in the aftermath of mayhem!

KidsVille September School Holdiays: Tuesday 21st & 28th, Thursday 23rd & 30th September.
KidsVille September School Holidays: (NSW 2nd week) Tuesday 5th & Thursday 7th October.

I've also had interest from some boys wanting to participate in classes, so please be sure to let me know as soon as you book them in so that I can prepare their kits specifically. I am happy to run a "Boys Only" class if I have 4+ boys. Times will be put up on the class list.

Keep your eyes peeled though, we will be running a Kids CropVille shortly, and all those little power scrappers out there can scrap to their hearts content! ............ more soon.

Creative Team Guest
The next Scrapville Creative Team Guest will be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Enjoy your inspirational journey, and happy creating!

June Newsletter

Hello Creative People, and welcome to the latest Scrapville Newsletter.
There has been much hype in the store of late, what with the end of financial year looming closer to my first stock take........... boy oh boy, all that counting!

The Monthly Packs sold out again, and the new Martha Stewart pop up and border punches have been walking out the door............ oh boy!  I think it would be a good idea for all interested to drop into the store and put down a deposit for the punches, and that will secure your sale when the next order arrives.  I might also suggest that you "...shimmer in" and put your name down for the particular Glimmer Mist you'd like as well, as I can't seem to keep up with the demand!  October Afternoon's Fly a Kite range will be in today, and the rest of the Cherry Hill packs should be out by the end of next week for those still wanting one - however numbers will definitely be limited, and these will not be made up again.  This really has been such a popular range of papers, and it's been great seeing all the inspired vintage and shabby creations using them.

The new Kaiser Trimmers are now in-store, along with the Advent Calendars and 9 Drawer Storage Cabinets.    I have seen the Advent Calendars decorated so nicely as special little storage spaces to put all those stray little bits and pieces.  It's also perfect of course for getting an early start for .... dare I say it - Christmas!  Scary thought I know....

We also have a range of book plates for the storage drawers as well.  These are available in a metallic style, or rich painted colours in varying styles.  Just the thing to finish off your project.

I have decided to charm you all with embellishments................ yes, I have new charms!  If you like little brass clocks, some with white faces, bird cages, handbags, owls, camera's or funky birds - come see!!  And ribbons, and pom poms and a few brassy and silver and bright buttons.............. and buttons, and ribbon............., and some new ribbons!!  My oh my you're being spoilt!  But seriously, there are lots of new bits and pieces in-store that are simply...................... charming!

We have lots of decorative brads in stock also, covered in pearl, glossy colours, lots of bling, chennile and velvet.  They are nice and fresh, and dress up a page very nicely simply by adding as a flower centre, folding back a corner and fastening with a brad, or simply to secure a photo or embellishment.

We've managed to shuffle a bit of furniture around so there's more room on the wall for displaying your wonderful work.  The Sketch & Monthly Pack Gallery is looking great, and providing many onlookers with much inspiration.  We have slotted in more 12x12 cardstock racks, and down the back we have an A4 section for housing all those Japanese, Shimmer and specialty occasion papers.

The Blind CropVille has been a great success, and filling up very quickly a month in advance.  It is so much fun, and our last night was no exception.  We had bums off seats madly punching away at the pack, with some beautifully punched cardstock border strips being layered across the page.  The girls were starting to doubt my ability to read the instructions correctly, however they all finished up with a beautiful layout with lovely layered lacy borders across it.  ......and some ladies even realized that they really should follow the instructions and not jump ahead, but they'll no doubt be naughty again.....

The next Blind CropVille on 17th July is BOOKED OUT, and the following one on 28th August still has places available.

CROPVILLE BOOKINGS
Friday 25th June there are     2 places available.
Saturday 3rd July there are   3 places available.

KIDSVILLE........................................                  Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, it's that time again - School Holidays!  We are once again leaving our senses and holding KidsVille Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays of the School Holidays.  I will be having classes in the mornings on Tuesdays, and classes in the afternoons on Thursdays.  If your daughter/son (yes, boys are welcome as well) would like to attend, please call into the store, or email Janet for further information at scrapville@iinet.net.au.  KidsVille participants should be competent with using scissors or a trimmer, and be able to follow instruction.  I will also be offering the option to do a set Class Kit, or a free scrap/crop with assistance, depending on the age of the kids.

Tuesday 29th June  -  10am - 12noon
Thursday 1st July   -    2pm - 4pm

Tuesday 6th July    -   10am - 12noon
Thursday 8th July   -    2pm - 4pm

Mums will be able to drop off the kids and go off for a coffee or some shopping whilst I entertain the class.  I'll ask mum's to make sure that any tools brought in from home are named, and for those that don't have a basic tool kit, one will be provided from the Scrapville workshop kit.

RETREAT
The Registration Forms have now been sent out to all interested persons via email, and deposits are being paid.  Those that prefer to collect their forms in person from Scrapville can do so when next in the store.  Thank you to those already booked in, and I look forward to sharing RetreatVille with you all!!  If you are interested in attending the Retreat and would like to register, please forward an email to Janet requesting the Registration Forms.

CREATIVE TEAM
Thank you everyone for making welcome our newest member of the Creative Team to Scrapville in the next Guest role.  Anthea has been busy putting together some projects for the next monthly packs, and we look forward to seeing what she has come up with............

To all the Scrapville Creative Team I would like to say "Thank You" for your support, creativity and inspiration.  I also need to say "Cong Rats!!" to Melinda, Marg and Anthea, all very talented people, for having their projects recently submitted for publication formally accepted.  Well done girls, and I look forward to seeing you all in print............... so to speak!

EXTRA MONTHLY PACKS
For those waiting on extra monthly packs, I will send out an announcement when they are ready.  Extra packs being prepared are Cherry Hill by October Afternoon, Paper Doll by Crate Paper and Flying High by My Little Shoebox.

Don't forget, the current sketch needs to be completed by pumpkin time on July 14th, so be sure to drop yours in or email it to Janet.

MAY NEWSLETTER

Hello Creative People, and Welcome to the Scrapville Newsletter. It's a little daunting at this point to realize that we are almost half way through the year already! Hasn't it just flown by without our noticing?.....
Scrapville has been very busy indeed, the least of all being the excellent layout and card designs being put up by the Creative Team. They are working hard on their beautiful projects to keep you all inspired, and get your motivation moving. I am very grateful for their input.

May has pretty much been "Mother's Month" here at Scrapville. The lead up to Mother's Day with the Special KidsVille class was a lot of fun, and the kids were all great. Some very proud little people left the class that day, excited about sharing their creations with their Mums on Mother's Day.

There are some great in-store specials on until the end of May. If you are looking at updating or adventuring into accessorizing your creative space with some new toys, we have what you need here at Scrapville! Call in and see what's available whilst the prices are down - our new cutting and embossing machines and accessorized tools are always better when you get them for a bargain!

SCRAPVILLE'S BIGGEST MORNING TEA
I find that where ever you look, you will find someone that has been touched in some way by cancer.
It's simply more than that five degrees of separation, it's that thing that sits and niggles away at the who, what, why and when inside us. The pain and suffering so many endure, the loss - albeit physical, emotional or financial, it's burdens are great. The strength to overcome these times, to support, to give hope and have faith often comes from the people working hardest to prevent it from taking any more lives. These are the people that are behind the Cancer Council and their diverse teams raising funds for this great cause, funds that go towards care, prevention, medication and research.

We are onboard.................

Scrapville will be holding a Biggest Morning Tea this Thursday, 27th May between 10.30am and 2.00pm. There will be a $5 donation for admission to the back room, where you will enjoy some yummy cakes and slices with your coffee and tea. Wear something PINK and you will be put in the draw for a spot prize.
All entry fees will be donated to the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.
20% of all sales on the day will also be donated to the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.

If you have paid your $5 donation, please feel welcome to come back for a FREE CROP at 7pm. The night is PINK, so wear something PINK, or work on something PINK. If you can only come for the evening CROP, the $5 CROP FEE will also be donated. Please contact Janet if you would like to attend so that numbers can be confirmed.

MONTHLY PACKS
How wonderful was that October Afternoon “Cherry Hill” range? As we sold out of the Monthly Packs (in the first 3 days..) the suppliers have been inundated with re-orders, and so now we are on the back order system. I will let everyone know as soon as they arrive back in stock!

JUNE’s Monthly Pack will once again feature TWO packs. Due out next Tuesday, the first will feature a range by My Little Shoebox, and the sample created by Melinda. This is priced at $15.00, and includes an optional Booster Pack for $10.00.  The Booster is only available with the purchase of the Monthly Pack!

The second will feature a beautiful range by Crate Paper, and the sample will be created by Marg. This is a wonderful and pretty pack, and priced at $20.00.

Those who have subscribed to the Monthly Packs will receive them as a priority; all the other packs will go onto display in the shop. This is a much easier way to ensure that you always receive your Monthly Packs.

April Newsletter & Updates

Hello Everyone, it seems like I've only just finished one Newsletter, then the next one is due.  And yes, for those of you who tend to check - it's actually OVER due!  Well, here I am though, head down, fingers dancing on the keyboard (and trust me, any dancing on my part is not a pretty sight....keyboard or not!).  There always seems to be something exciting going on, and this month is no exception.  During April I announced the introduction of a Guest to the Creative Team, on a short term basis.  This role will be alternated with new Guests over the coming months, and I look forward to sharing with you their excitement, expertise and wonderful projects.  In this first Guest Role we welcomed Marg Oliver to the Team, and look forward to seeing more of her beautiful work.

Marg takes on the role at an opportune time as Sally Clark prepares for an overseas trip with her family.  Our Creative Team will miss her wonderful contributions to Scrapville’s Monthly Projects and the beautiful shop samples whilst she is away, and we wish Sally and her family a wonderful and safe trip.  I will be sure to give you an update when Sally returns home in early July.

I would also like to thank Melinda for her wonderful Monthly Sketches.  They have been great challenges, and the layout and card sketches are both fresh and exciting.  The general feedback has been just wonderful and each month brings with it a new motivation and excitement.

As you all know I recently announced that Scrapville was introducing Monthly Subscriptions.  These will commence from 1st May, and the first mail out will ensure that all those that have subscribed will have their packs or kits posted out before the end of April.  If you wish to subscribe for the Monthly Packs, please forward me an email for details regarding payment options and your selection.  In addition to the Subscriptions we will also be adding a Kit each month. In the Shop:
On the TOOL front we have the perfect opportunity for you all to get the Male Members of the household into a Scrapbooking Shop!  Tell them there are TOOLS, and they'll drop everything and whip in to pick up something special for Mother's Day!....  There is lots to temp Mum that those Dad's out there should be aware of!!  MM Paper Trimmers are in stock, the Ott-Lite lamps are now in, the Crop-A-Dile cases have arrived, the Heat Guns are re-stocked, the MM Metallic Stamp holder kit is in, the Border Punches are in, Pop Up Punches are in, Xyron Refills and Craft Knives are topped up, and the replacement Cricut blades and Cricut Took Kits are in.

Now, all that without even mentioning the Cricuts, Texture Boutique Embossing Machines, the Cuttlebug Machine or the Zutter Bindit.  The only thing missing here is the i-top's, which I'm hoping arrive soon...

I have more Glitter now in stock for all those secret fairies out there needing a bit more sparkle!  We have the Versamark Watermark pads back on the shelf, and StazOn back in stock, also available in several new colours. For those into distressing and aging we also now have the Tsukineko Walnut Inks in a 4 Pack Spray set, great range of colours and SO many uses. We also have the Static Pads for embossing, embossing trays for a neater application, and more daubers for inking.

There is a new supply of really nice Bling, Felt and Cardstock Embellishments to stick straight onto the page, and some really neat Puffy Stickers in Alpha's and Shapes to compliment cute boy and girl ranges coming out soon...
There are new Thickers in, new coloured Mini Alphas, and some nice thick cardstock alpha stickers in a couple of different styles. Nice enough to put straight onto the page, or even mount up and edge with the distresser.

A little off the page we have Book Plates and Metal Tags, Metal Word Tags and Gorgeous White Plywood Letters and Numbers. These are light enough to put onto a page, mount onto an OTP Booklet or decorate on their own. Along with these we have an A4 sized raw wood album - the cover & back are joined with album rings, and they include an extra "number" that is loose so that it can be decorated separately and then added on accordingly. The Number Albums are 18, 21, 30, 40, 50 & 60. Others are available at your request.....

There are Cropper Hopper 12x12 paper holders in sets of three, and a Wire Holder for your Trimmer that will keep your work area free for spreading out.  This next bit scares me a little....................... there is SO much paper.......... where do I start?
Imaginisce, BoBunny, Basic Grey, American Crafts, 3Bugs in a Rug, WeR Memory Keepers, Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon, DoodleBugs, Junkitz............ puff, puff, puff!!!

Okay, there might also be more flowers - there might be BIG paper flowers and tiny velvet flowers and little bling flowers and very BRIGHT flowers and a few more bling flowers and even some bling flower CENTRES (which are pretty nice)............ but I would need to have another look!

ALMOST in the door is the Album backorder, the trolley TOTEs with wheels and a handle, the Texture Boutique Beginner Kits and the Heidi Swapp Edge Distressers..... I do however have some more 12x12 albums in a Kraft colour with either Red or Light Blue spines, and a range of album refills.

So there you have it, busy busy busy!!  So much stuff, so little time...  Apart from this Scrapville has entertained the idea of running a Retreat in September.  Deposits are being taken and preparations are being made.  Far be it for me to say that this is going to be an exciting event, but by golly it is!!  I will update you further when I am able to confirm all details, but please email me should you have any queries.

For the Cause: Biggest Morning Tea Event
For the past couple of years I have registered with the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea and organized an event to support this very worthy cause.  I am happy to announce that I have registered my support through Scrapville, and will be participating in the Biggest Morning Tea in-store on Thursday, 27th May.  There will be a few surprises here, so keep an eye on the Blog for updates.

During the school holidays we ran some kids classes.  These ranged from an open crop, shrink dink key chains and bookmarks, and a tag booklet.  The kids were from a varied level of ages and experience, and the general feedback was that they all had a great time.  I would like to thank everyone for coming along and taking part in KidsVille Classes and Crops, it was great having you.  I would also like to thank Allana and Riley for helping out on these days, assisting in the classes and manning the shop.  You both helped it all run smoother.  We look forward to offering further KidsVille Classes in the next school holiday block, with a few changes to help cater to everyone’s level of experience and enjoyment.

To give you a brief run down on what’s been happening since the first Newsletter, I must say that I have been digging away at orders to restock the shelves of Scrapville.  There has been many an echo of excitement coming from the depths of the big brown boxes as an abundance of new stock is readied to hit the shelves.  Since the end of CHA in America, the wholesalers have been going flat out to get the Pre-Orders in for all the new stock set to hit the Aussies Shores this month.   Scrapville, like everyone else, has been anxiously awaiting new lines of stock for the shelves.  I am hoping that we will be able to get these items out to you before much longer.

What to Expect.
Well, we have at least four new ranges of 3 Bugs in a Rug coming out, very boyish cutesy ranges.  We also have some new BoBunny coming out, with the focus on Kitchen stuff and Girly themes!  In our teen area we have a new range of Geo-Hectic by Little Yellow Bicycle focusing on the outdoorsy bloke, and lots of embellishments to support it.  This one will actually work in well with the Monthly Pack if you focus on the stamps.........  New flowers have arrived in stock, and heaps of new chipboard shapes and words, some felt and foam embellies, and more bling brads.

The Imaginisce i-top, the Cricut Expression and the Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing Machine seem to be the main products that people want to see demonstrated, and we will be including a demonstration schedule in the calendar to accommodate your interest in these products throughout the year.

The Scrapville Blog has been very popular, and I am really happy to see you all popping in and leaving comments, and allowing Scrapville to display your projects.  Our followers are coming from far and wide, and it’s nice to know we able to draw their interest Down Under!  The Monthly Sketch Challenges have also been very popular, with lots of inspired people bringing their projects into the shop for display.  Those a little further afield are gratefully emailing me their challenges and I am uploading them to the Blog for you all to see.  Don’t forget, the Monthly Sketch Challenge runs from the 15th of each month to Pumpkin Hour on the 14thof the following month.  That means you have until THIS SUNDAY night to get your layout or card finished girls!!

The current Scrapville Monthly Pack is the Bella Boulevard Super Stud, focusing on robots.  It is very cute, and can also be worked for girls – just check out the Blog and see what the Creative Team has done.  Unfortunately the first batch of this pack has been sold, and I am desperately  awaiting the arrival of the next shipment.  I will send out a broadcast once it is in so that those that missed out can pick one up.  Apologies to those still waiting.

SOMETHING NEW
I am happy to announce that due to the interest in the Monthly Packs, we will be setting up a subscription to accommodate those who would like to make a standing commitment.  Further information will be released shortly, outlining costs, payment details, dates and privacy policies.

And............ we will also be doing two extra kits for each month, as a themed Monthly Kit for Girls/Female and Boys/Male.  This will include a colour copy of a layout, with the instructions to make the kit.  All materials to complete the project will be included in the kit, and these will also be available for subscription.

Subscription Numbers will be limited to 25, so it will be based on first fully paid subscription customers will have priority.  Again, a broadcast will be sent out once details have been finalized.  Please be patient.

January Newsletter 2010

Hello to my Creative Friends,
And a big hearty welcome to the very first of the Scrapville Newsletters!  I hope that we are able to form a creative and inspiring relationship throughout our mutual interests.

For those of you that do not know me, I will give you a brief run down, then get into the real stuff!!
My partner Lui and I are from Myrtleford, and we have two very active teenage boys.  All three contribute to the greyness of my recently coloured hair!  I still feel the love, it’s just in that vastly expanding ‘grey area’....  My three boys are very blokey and outdoorsy, and I enjoy every moment I can taking their photos and being involved with them in all the unpredictable situations that blokey boys will bring...  Trust me, there are many!

I have been crafty for as long as I can remember, and shamefully a remarkable paper hoarder (I get that from my mother..... who is not around to dispute it).  I have always loved being around papers and pens, writing and drawing, and putting it all together in a variety of artistic mediums.  With the growing emphasis on handmade and heartfelt crafts, I naturally emerged from the joys of my crafts to scrapbooking.  Yep, I was a goner!!   I loved the idea of focusing on a photo and drawing attention to it, whether it be by journaling or decorating with complimentary embellishments, it had such appeal.  This would be something I could hand down to my children and their children after them, and display beautifully the story of our lives.

So from that point, and I hope for so many of my readers, I ventured into the world of scrapbooking, card making, and a pathway to the most wonderful friends I could ever hope to meet.  This world of creativity had opened up a direction for me that was just so fulfilling I couldn’t get enough.  (Oddly I am hearing you....)

So, now we are here.  Opening my own shop-front Scrapbooking business was a huge decision, but it came down to a balance of what was to come next in my life.  “Scrapville” was born upon the needs of a region in demand, and the drive of a person with enough creativity and soul to put what was lacking into reality.  I welcome the challenge, and look forward to fulfilling the needs of the creative spirit in all of us.

My first day of Trading was December 21st 2009, and it was an enormous effort to get the doors opened before Christmas.  I really do appreciate the efforts of all those behind the scenes, my network of friends and my Creative Team who helped me pull it together.  I also thank the suppliers who helped me get all their beautiful products onto the shelves and make it a reality.  So, on behalf of myself and Scrapville’s supporters, I welcome you to this new and exciting venture.  We will endeavour to meet your needs wherever possible, and offer support and assistance where we can.

Our official Grand Opening will be held on Saturday, 6th February from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  You will get to meet the Creative Team, participate in product demonstrations, pick up the latest Scrapville Blog Sketch Challenge, and put your name down on the Events Calendar for February.  Listed in the calendar will be our classes, crops nights and product demonstration sessions.  For those of you wanting to entertain the children we will also be holding Kids Classes and Kids Parties, with the emphasis on a set workshop.  Find out more at the opening.

With the Scrapville Blog up and running, I would like to advise that we will be offering a monthly Sketch Challenge from the 15th of each month to the 15th of the following month.  The Blog Moderator will be generating random prizes for the Sketch Challenge, so be sure to log on and download the latest Sketch.  Being a very generous person, the Blog Moderator will also randomly pick one of the comments left on the Scrapville Blog to send out a RAK, so be sure to get online at www.thescrapvilleblog.blogspot.com and check it out.

For those of you wanting something a bit closer to home, we will be offering a Monthly Pack for sale.  If you choose to purchase this pack just call into Scrapville and pick one up, or send an email with “Monthly Pack” in the subject bar to have one posted out.  All you need to do then to qualify for a prize is upload your project to the Blog Moderator, or call into Scrapville and we’ll do it for you.  The Monthly Pack will run from the 1st of the month to the 1st of the following month.  The criteria for the Monthly Pack will be advised each month.

Special Broadcasts and Announcements will also be posted to the Blog, as will the monthly Newsletters.  Scrapville will also have the Newsletters available in store for those that do not have internet access.

Scrapville’s Grand Opening is set for Saturday, 6th of February.  The shop will be ‘spark-alark-alark-a-bling’, and open for all and sunder to wander in and meet myself and my network of helpers.  We will be demonstrating all the shop’s exciting new toys and techniques throughout the day, with well prepared samples and portfolios throughout.  There might even be some spot giveaways....  We would be very pleased to have you call in and say hello, and wander into a demonstration or two.

You are the reason Scrapville is here, so please let us know what you think.  I will be sending out an information feedback form to those on the email listing, to complete and return.  We want to know what you want, what you need and what you expect from us.  As a new business we are here to meet your needs to the best of our capabilities.  Help us to help you by filling in the feedback form, and a random prize will be selected for one of the lucky participants who reply.  Got to be a pretty special deal to receive a RAK in the mail from Scrapville for just filling in a form.... Do it!!

“What’s in the shop” you ask?  Oh my goodness, where do I start.............  How can I unpack boxes of stock when I am so busy diving into them to check it all out??!!  Uh Huh, difficult...  We have;
