November Blind Cropville

This month the girls were treated to a Blind CropVille with Sally at the helm.  This is a nice change for the girls, and Sally for that matter, as they all got to experience a different kind of Blind Cropping!  Below we are sharing a few of the layouts that were created at the class, each one different in it's own right.  I hope everyone enjoyed the techniques, and were able to have a play at home.

October Blind CropVille

Hi everyone, today we are sharing some layouts from the girls who attended the October Blind CropVille.  This month the girls were challenged with a multi-photo layout, that in itself can be somewhat daunting.  We also tackled the much loved distress inks, layering, dry embossing and a considerable amount of knowledge in the checkers department!  To add to the mix a couple of kits were mixed up so that the girls had a different take on the BCV.  

We also welcomed Newbies to BCV this month, I hope you had fun and we look forward to seeing you again soon.  To those that missed out, well we hope to see you next month when Sally takes over the reins for a technique packed BCV (and you thought I was tough!).  Thanks again to Sally for putting the BCV together and keeping the girls on their toes!!

Blind Croppers

It's a bit like that saying...."you really should have been there!"  We secretly decided to turn the tables on the girls at RetreatVille, and give them a Blind CropVille run by Sally, but they already knew!  My goodness, what fun, and by that I mean what fun I had watching!!  A fair amount of whip-cracking was undertaken, we ran out of Naughty Corners (it didn't help that we had one reserved for Heather, and she wasn't even there!...). 

At the end of the night we had successfully achieved (photographic proof of) completed Blind RV Layouts. I really think the photos of the girls scrapping same would have been better to upload, but I don't respond very well to threats of bodily harm......  therefore we have a few layouts to share instead!  Enjoy!

Lots of fun was had by all.  The girls had to choose all their bits and pieces from their own stash, so I think they all did a pretty good job.  You can see these and more at Scrapville and in the Window of Fame.  Thanks for running the Blind RV Sally.

Our next in-store Blind Cropville is on Saturday, 8th October.  There are 2 classes, one at 2.30pm and one at 7pm.  Bookings are essential and the list of requirements will be uploaded to the sidebar on the Blog under Blind Cropville.

August Blind CropVille

June Blind CropVille

Hi Everyone, this month's BCV saw the girls madly distressing and banging away with their eyelet tools.  The outcome was a texture stamped background, some tearing and inking, some lacing, Dimensional Magic and journalling.  The girls had a slightly different take on the layout, but all in all they turned out great and we had fun.

May Blind CropVille

Hi Everyone, this month we did a layout featuring the theme of Mothers, which is quite appropriate considering it's Mother's Day tomorrow!  In this challenge the girls got to play with some colour stamping and clear embossing, fussy cutting and layering.  The layouts weren't all that different from the Master really, although placement will always come into it.  I think one of the girls actually dropped her layout, threw everything back on and stuck it down.... that's my theory Sal!  Thanks to Sally for putting up the design, and to the ladies who attended.
