Hi Everyone, sorry about wagging the Blog lately, but I'm back at last from Retreat and gearing up for the little people's School Holiday KidsVille tomorrow.
The little people will need to bring in their trimmers, adhesives and a 5x7 or smaller photo for the class. Once you've finished the class you can have a free scrap, so bring along something extra.
................... wagging doesn't always pay off, there's so much more catch up on now!!!

KidsVille Mother's Day Class
Well, I finally managed to find that photo........... since the secret's out of the bag and the Kids have given Mum their precious cards and little decorated boxes! The kids all had lots of fun, and were very proud of their gifts. Below is their photo with their masterpieces in hand!
Pictured is Holly, Indi, Lucinda, Eliza and Emily.
Miss Lucinda is showing us all the Beautiful Card and decorated box (which she hopefully remembered to fill with yummy goodies) that she made for Mum Kylie.
Well done girls, and I'm sure your Mums were all very proud of your efforts!

KidsVille
Hello to all the little people out there that form part of Scrapville's "KidsVille". For a little while now I have been fortunate to explore my inner child by spending time drawing at the counter with the little people, whilst Mum or Nan have a shop around. Should those of you yearning for an escape from the echoing "Mum! Mum! Mum!....." be wondering how I survive the little people when you wander around the shop, may I remind you that this is where the creativity begins.... I am sure you all haven't heard the stories I've heard about Buzz's car and the Firemen and the dogs that just don't sit still, and why dad needed a haircut, and the little horse that will take a little boy to Pony Club one day, and the ever so busy social life these little people endure with regular coffee stops with the girls ..... I tell you I am learning a lot!!! Heaven forbid the hired help forgets that this is routine when I am not around!! As gratitude for the experience, the little people are rewarded with something special from the Green Box, and their beautiful creations are displayed in Scrapville on the KidsVille display board.
Today I thought I would share with you all some of the wonderful works that have been created by the little people. Not only do I have drawings, but cards and layouts too, so thank you all little people for leaving me something special in my shop to share with everyone.
During the recent school holidays the little people ventured upon Scrapville for some inspiring crafting and creating. There was lots of work on layouts, cards, shrinky dinks bookmarks and keyrings. I managed to capture a snap of the happy "little" scrappers, with some of their masterpieces.
Thank you to Eliza, Indi, Amber, Lucinda, Jess, Jade, Ruby, Mathilda, Jess, Emily G, Emily, Jorja, Alexis, Georgia, Rylee, and Ashton for taking part in the KidsVille classes. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed having you here.
There will be more shortly as I reveal a "Special KidVille" class that was held last night, where no mums were allowed in! I seem to have lost the photo's until next Monday............

Miss Caitlin's Challenge
Hello and welcome to Scrapville's very own self provoked first (unofficial) KidsVille Challenge. Some time earlier I posted a challenge to a dear friend's daughter, who incidentally was bugging her mum to no end whilst she was on a call to me. I asked her to relay to Caitlin that I was calling from a long way away, and that it was a special time to catch up for us. I could almost hear the cogs turning through the sudden silence from here......, and then more bugging....
So, I asked her mum if I could set her a challenge to help her understand the importance of catching up with friends so far away. There was an amazing air of excitement in Caitlin the Brown's house as she eagerly awaited instruction for her challenge - whilst telling everyone she was going to be famous in the same breath! She was going to be on the Scrapville Blog! famous.........Maybe she can make me famous??
So up went the challenge in a fleeting white pizza box destined for an excited little girl in Sydney.
Here is what she had to do:
So off went Miss Caitlin in squeals of excitement, still bugging mum to let her get started! I was hoping they would both have lots of fun creating with their goodies.
...tick, tick, tick................ tick, tick, tick.................. "She's Done!!" Well, the layout was done, the card is getting done next then put into the mail...........
.................tick, tick, tick.....................tick, tick, tick.............. "She's Done - Again!"
So I am informed by the famous little girl's mother that the card is in the mail, and the layout is soon to follow via email.
Well, you can hardly blame that Postie, it's a long way to go with a card in your postie bag on the back of your Honda 110 all the way to Wodonga from way up in Sydney... yep, it got lost....... ooohhhhh nooooooooooooooo!
I was ever so fortunate though, to receive this beautiful layout from a soon to be Famous little Scrapper called Caitlin Brown. She has done a marvellous job, and followed her instructions very well, featuring her cousins that live a long way away, and that she misses and loves. Just beautiful Miss Caitlin.
So, I am holding up my end of the bargain, and up this layout goes onto the Scrapville Blog.
Thank you for taking part in my challenge Miss Caitlin, and I would be aware of future challenges at Scrapville for a seasoned scrapper like yourself!

- make a layout about far away friendship using the things in the pack,
- make a card and send it to Janet at Scrapville!!! using the things in the pack.
